I'm Jhonatan Henao Muñoz, well-known as #ProfeJhon among language learners. As it is supposed and due, here you have a brief introduction about me. Let's go.
Somewhere in my home country... Born, raised, and educated in Manizales-Colombia, I completed my B.A. in Modern Language Teaching (Spanish, English and French). Yes, I used to be monolingual, but once you learn a second language, the next one will be quite easier (Besides, watching anime/movies without subtitles is an awesome skill). Differently from others degrees, mine provided me with pedagogic and didactic background to teach languages [I am a Licenciado in Modern Languages which means, I am a languages professor. Yes, there is loss in translation as in Colombian Spanish, professor is a profession as well as a position, it is just my profession].
Somewhere in the United States... At Lincoln, Nebraska, I obtained a M.A. in Modern Languages and Literatures with Spanish concentration, Hispanic Linguistics, and French minors. Concurrently, I earned a Graduate Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) - Well, I just wanted to maintain my languages teaching updated. Nowadays at Tucson, AZ, I am pursing my Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics, majoring in Syntax and minoring in French and SLAT (Second Language Acquisition and Teaching).
Learning and teaching languages have made part of my academic and professional life. Besides, I really enjoy studying, learning and teaching them. Therefore, sometimes I have ideas to make it easy to learn, or at least, less difficult to understand.
Here you will have access to several resources [that I will be updating] to keep improving your language knowledge. Bienvenid@s! Welcome! Bienvenue!
